I am reading Jenny Uglow's book on Hogarth concurrently (but, of course, in no connection) with The Teaching Company's series of lectures on painters of the Northern Renaissance, and noticed that two of Jan van Eyck's depictions of the infant Jesus strongly resemble Hogarth's young Moses in his presentation of Moses to the pharaoh's daughter.
Has this been noted before?

In talking with a Hogarth collector recently he mentioned a Hogarth drawing which he descibed as 'The Preacher Box' and being of relevance to our local church. Does anyone know what this picture might be called and where it can be viewed on the Internet?
Any helpful asistance will be much appreciated. Thank you.
